B Garden Cafe @ Batu Lanchang

B Garden Cafe was located along Lintang Batu Lanchang. If you are coming from Lam Wah Ee Hospital, it can be spotted at the corner of the T-junction leading to Batu Lanchang wet market.

B Garden Cafe is actually a kopitiam which has quite a number of hawker's stalls for you to choose from. The place was incredibly crowded at night.

Char Koay Teow (RM3.00)

The Char Koay Teow came with the standard ingredients like cockles, prawns, lap cheong (chinese sausage) and egg. It tasted rather good despite not having bigger sized prawns. It could have been better with additional lap cheong.

Chee Cheong Fun (RM1.70)

The Chee Cheong Fun here was supposedly the same as the one in Genting Chee Cheong Fun. Most Penangites would rate this CCF as one of the best in the island. I have not eaten CCF in Genting kopitiam for a long time. But the taste was amazingly similar. The sauce is thick, dark and slightly sweet. I was told it has peanut butter mixed into the prawn paste. That was a secret ingredient. Not a secret anymore huh? I would recommend opening up the CCF and then mix it with the sauce and chili. Simply delicious!
