Ipoh Hor Fun @ Chai Leng Park

Thinking of heading to Ipoh just to taste the famous Ipoh Hor Fun? Fret not, there is an equally good one here at Chai Leng Park and saves you the 2-hour drive up on the highway. This stall is located in Lao Di-Fang coffee shop which can be seen at a corner of a junction along Jalan Kurau.

There was a huge banner hanging in front of the kopitiam that featured a newspaper article of this stall. They do have a reputation.

Dry version Hor Fun (RM3.00)

The texture of the hor fun was smooth albeit a tad too salty for my taste. Having this plate of dry hor fun alone is rather not satisfying, so we ordered a plate of Chicken with soy sauce to compliment it as a side dish.

The chicken meat was quite tender and smooth. What makes this chicken tastes special was the soy sauce. Indeed, you can never give this dish a miss.
